Ever since I bought my first piece of Fuji gear I was waiting for this. I always wanted a light and small street wide lens, the classic full frame 35mm that some many masters love to use. But with the Fuji X100 hardly believed it would happen, and the existing 23mm is beautiful but a bit too much on the heavy side for me. Now, with new range of small lenses here it is, even if it’s not the pancake-ish lens I would love still is good enough for me.
This must be karma playing is ways on me… Last week I hit the road to go north to Trás-Os-Montes, probably my favorite region of Portugal. I wasn’t at all the initial plan, at one point my thoughts were on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago, but some doubts on my overall fitness for a week of walking put that for a while. It was a big surprise when I realized the village I stayed for some days is also part of the Camino, not in the Portuguese path but as a variation that crosses the northeastern corner of Portugal of the long Via de La Plata. Now that I’m already at home I’m thinking karma was saying I shouldn’t to forget this.
