Looking fierce and might on top of that rock! Or then again, maybe not… 😂 Great times at Picos de Europa, here at one of my favorite places: Lake Ercina. Photo by João Maia

Lazy Sunday at one of Lisbon’s trendy spots, making the best use of the lovely December end of day light. And with it came that great of feeling more “at home” with new gear: finally I’m starting get the best of my Fuji XF 23mm f2, and this feels even better than buying and unboxing it!

Now t3mujinpack is on GitHubOne of the things that drove me to start t3mujinpack was the open-source approach of doing things by yourself, whenever there’s no valid or suitable solution. But until now, and despite that it wasn’t released a long time ago, it wasn’t really open-source, as it was being maintained by myself in a private repository.Well, all that has changed, as it’s available as a GitHub repository, which means now is free like “free as in speech” besides the “free as in beer”.“But what does this mean to me?”If you registered and downloaded the current version, and prefer to have the stable releases then nothing has changed: the releases will be available regularly, and delivered in your inbox if registered the newsletter. If you like to be on the cutting edge then this might be for you, as the it will always contain the latest, but often unfinished, updates of the presets, like the ongoing work for version 0.2. And you may even contribute with your changes. It will also make easier submitting bugs or suggesting new presets or enhancements.Follow it on GitHub

Short days, dark days, rainy days. Autumn has hit this city with a smell of winter. I love to photograph rainy days, stormy days bring even more challenges, but in the end this last weekend wasn’t the time to face the elements, I can still think of my soaking boots from my “wet hike” in the Alvão mountains last month. Now it’s time to look for familiar places and get the past work done, CCB is one of mine, and in between keep shooting for the sake of sharpening the saw and becoming more acquainted to my still recent Fuji XF 23mm f2.

Not the ideal of light conditions to photograph a place like the Lakes of Covadonga, but overwhelming nevertheless. Here my mate João stopped for a minute enjoying the scenery.

I have a thing for weird, abandoned or just out of place football fields, and last month in the North of Portugal and Spain I added quite a few to my collection. #portugal #trasosmontes #androidonly #ligadosultimos #vscocam

Today’s office at my retreat, working on the stuff from recent trips to the north of Portugal and Spain. There are are still some snapshots from both trips waiting to be uploaded, expect those in my instagram feed in the next days.

A big, yellow quince somehow found his way into my cellar #portugal #beirabaixa #vscocam

One of the shots from my street walk in Sintra, going for a calm day getting to know my new “street wide” lens. Only when I arrived I realized for how long I haven’t been there…(check this and more from this day at www.flickr.com/photos/t3… All processed with my darktable styles Fuji Pro 400H, Fuji Pro 800Z and Kodak Ektachrome 100 VS presets)
