Has been a very long time without any updates, so I’m taking this rainy Saturday in Lisbon to prepare my first newsletter update in a while. It will cover most of what I’ve been doing late last year, and a bit of this year’s also, so it will be an email longer than usual, which means plenty of time to register to receive it ;) . eepurl.com/AOVF1

Wasn’t even planning going there today, kinda went along as a guide for my mate Joao Maia, but a nice surprise was expecting us there, as we spent most of our time not photographing but talking with some elders with their memories full of stories of the river

Like a lizard, I’ve been charging my batteries by the sun. This year has started with slow movements: looking back, planning for the months ahead, time to be a bit lazy after the hectic last days of last year (http://updates.joaoalmeidaphotography.com/post/155025637827/time-to-relax-from-the-fast-pace-have-a-cold-one) and before the next one is around the corner (http://archive.joaoalmeidaphotography.com/index/G0000UCjCrIbgLwo). The first photos of the year (https://www.flickr.com/photos/t3mujin/shares/8n7Jd2) aren’t that different from the rest: easy and uncomplicated, saturday morning out in the streets with friends (and not taking that much photos with all the talking), letting winter sun warm up the face and enjoying the slow days. 🙃

Uma nova versão do #t3mujinpack está mesmo aí à portaNos últimos meses as minhas photos (como estas da semana passada em Trás-Os-Montes) foram processadas no Darktable usando o t3mujinpack, o meu pack de presets de emulação de filme, o que quer dizer que pode ser testado a fundo, com algumas emulações actualizadas e mesmo reescritas quase do zero. Uma das emulações que sofreu mais alterações foi o Kodachrome, provavelmente umas das mais complicadas de replicar, e a verdade é que estou bem mais contente com o resultado, quando comparado com a versão anterior. Enquanto espera pela versão final, e completa, dos novos presets pode já ir testando estas alterações nas emulações Kodachrome.Faça já o download em bit.ly/t3mujinpa…
