Work straight out of the oven.

With all the stuff I have on my lap I hardly noticed the nice Spring days had made their way. And I just noticed I had a few “lost” stuff, unrelated stuff from pleasant warmer days from Lisbon, so it was about time to finally upload it. You can find all of them on Flickr.

Sunday. The first Sunday of Spring.

Just clearing my unprocessed archive, this time with some of my alone street photo walks in Lisbon in the last year or so…

Digging deep in my archives and finding a photo walk from almost a year ago yet to be uploaded, when me and João Sousa went randomly shooting stuff in Chiado and, without planning found one of Lisbon’s Lent processions.

One of the neat things of Lisbon is that, because it’s a very hilly city, you can easily be walking on a street and find yourself with the river or a sea of roofs in front of you. Those who live in this apartment building have this view as soon as they leave the elevator. Every single time. Every single day. I bet it that can brighten someone’s day.Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹, January 2023#lisbon #portugal
A Saturday afternoon I wasn’t in the mood to return home after lunch, so I went the opposite way until I found myself by the river.

Random train to some place… Photowalks on rainy Sundays that you weren’t suppose to leave the couch potato. And I wasn’t planning to, but @luiscosta76 was in the mood to go to places, and I still have to remind myself that bad weather gives neat photos…Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal 🇵🇹, January 2023#vilafrancadexira #portugal

When one of your photo mates dares you to go out for some shots, on a holiday you we’re planning to be a couch potato all day. I guess I can leave the potatoing for later…

Another of my recent batches, in between the social events that I’m likely late to or just the random walks after a day in the office. Slowly getting back into the routine of going after photos, which is a good thing. I guess…

Autumn day stroll around downtown Lisbon… www.flickr.com/photos/t3…

To go along with the blog post I posted earlier, here you can find all my Amplifest 2022 photos. Well, not everyone one of them, you know what I mean… Check them on Flickr: flic.kr/s/aHBqjAe…

As the fresh memories from Iceland start to fade away I’m slowly returning to the random walks in my city, but also looking back to the photos taken in the rest of this summer, as the days slip into winter.Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹, June-September 2021#lisbon #portugal

Prisma, the video installation by Alexandre Farto (a.k.a. Vhils) on MAAT sure makes neat photos! #vhils #lisbon #portugal

A pinch of Lisbon’s summer. Days have been hot lately, and despite I haven’t really been keen on capturing it on camera I’ve been looking at my archive, so it made sense to share some summer shots from the last couple of years I had waiting in my drive.

Some casual Sunday shots around Vila de Rei with João Ferreira de Figueiredo, as we happened to be around for the weekend (the proof that this part of the country is the place to be). The big thing here is that these were taken with his Leica Q2! Minimal processing here, straight from the RAW with minimal adjustments, because I was test driving the camera and mostly because it was Sunday and I wasn’t in the mood for more than that. #leicaq2

Going through the photos from this year’s Carnival, with the long delay I tend to get my work done these days. It was the first time since the start of pandemic I was able to go back to the masked festivals of Northern Portugal (and this year, Spain also) I’ve been shooting in the recently. It was nice to go back to back to places and rituals I’m now starting to know well, to shoot side by side with some of my mates, meet again familiar faces. It felt nice, it really did. That’s it for the cheesy intermission. The “real” photos will follow. Eventually…#entrudo #entroido #laza #manzaneda #vilaboa #vinhais #trasosmontes #galicia #portugal #spain

Weekend strolls to unlikely, and not that pretty, places… #lisbon #portugal
